hand. they knew. when president obama looked the american people in the eye and said if you like your health insurance, you can keep your current plan, period, no matter what, that was a bald-faced lie. he intended -- in fact, i think they intended for these people to lose their health insurance. the reason for that is -- as you pointed out -- it will be up to 14 million people. why do they want them to lose insurance? they need them to move into the exchanges to subsidize poor people. the individual mandate is the most lucrative part -- excuse me, the individual market is the most lucrative segment of the health insurance industry because they don't use a lot of services and they are generally healthy. those are people they need to move into the exchanges in order to subsidize obama care. while president obama was going out there saying you won't lose your health insurance, period, all along they were planning for those people to lose their health insurance -- 14 million of them -- and move into the exchanges. >> as we watch the website fall apart, he dwunt have to worry. though

party republicans, americans' opinion of obama care has actually improved by several points. so while the republicans continue to embrace extremism and try to throw as many on stac -- on stacks in the way of americans getting affordable health care, there are going to be some bumps along the way but they fully embrace the idea everyone should have access to quality affordable health care and insurance companies shouldn't be able to drop you or deny you coverage for pre-existing issues. >> those are two issues, one is whether you support the idea of the aca at all and whether you think people should have affordable health care and we all know the record of the republicans to trying to make sure that it didn't happen or wasn't implemented and the other is getting the confidence in getting the website up and running. and another thing barbara mikulski says i think the website is question confusing. it crashed again yesterday. it's been down nightly to make sure they can get the glitches done. there's been a promise made, as you know, that all of that will be fixed by the end of the month

obama to encourage americans to eat healthy on a food-stamp budget. shares of the container store nearly doubled on the first day of trading. shares priced above range at $18 late thursday and jumped to $36 at the open of friday's trade. the retailer raised $225 million in its ipo. the container store sells shelving, filing cabinets, storage bins, and other products to organize homes and businesses. it has no direct competitors other than discount chains such as walmart. shares of the container store closed at $36.22 more questions are being asked by federal regulators about trading and hiring practices at jp morgan chase. the u.s. department of justice along with other agencies are investigating the banks hiring in hong kong. the firm is also admits-- it's facing a probe into currency trading, possible manipulation of foreign exchange rates and it's connection to the bernie maddoff ponzi scheme. the investigations are in the early stages. jp morgan officials are cooperating with authorities. auto sales revved up in october. sales rose across the board for the biggest automakers.
